Pawel Tomasz Wasilewski also referred to by the name Paul Wesley, is an multi-award winning actor, producer and director best known for his role in the popular television drama series The Vampire Diaries. In recognition of his performance in The Vampire Diaries the actor received numerous awards as well as nominations. Wesley is an American-born actor who started acting while at school. Rutgers University was his next destination. Once he realised the potential for his acting skills to make a difference in a career, he chose to leave. The cult American TV soap Another World was his first TV performance. In two years, he was the lead role on Wolf Lake on CBS. After he took on the role of Stefan Salvatore for the American popular TV series The Vampire Diaries, his career changed. The director has also directed a number of episodes of the television series. In the years following his debut as a movie actor in The Last Run, he played in numerous other films. In the last few years He has also appeared in Mothers and Daughters and The Late Bloomer.
