Anna Silk

Anna Silk, born January 31st 1974 in Fredericton Brunswick Canada is an actress best known for playing Bo on the Showcase series Lost Girl. Silk was born in Fredericton New Brunswick Canada. Ilkay is the director of drama and producer in St. Thomas University, is Silk's mom. The father of Silk, Peter is an academic. Her father is British and her mother a Turkish-Cypriot-English expat. Anna remembers her very first memory of playing rehearsals together with her mother. Silk played a role as a young girl in commercials. Her Bachelor of Arts was awarded to her by St. Thomas University, 1997. Theatre St. Thomas produced two of its first productions: Seven Menus, and The Kitchen. Silk was able to move to Toronto to Los Angeles in the decade that followed 1999. Seth Cooperman is her future partner, which she met at the time of her meeting in Los Angeles at an Actors training. The couple got engaged in 2009, and then married at a civil ceremony that was held in December. The couple renewed their vows the 10th of April in Fredericton in a Jewish wedding ceremony, after Silk converted to Judaism. Silk Cooperman was blessed with her son, Samuel Jerome Cooperman, in May of 2013. Levi Aaron was her second born baby on May 13, the 13th of May, 2016. Silk's television work is a part of Being Erica as Cassidy Holland in which she was awarded the Gemini Awards nod in 2009. In 2009, she got the principal character role of Bo Dennis a succubus in the Canadian television show Lost Girl. Silk revealed to fans the good information that she was pregnant during the filming of Season 3 during an exclusive pre-show to promote Season Three. This was broadcasted by Showcase in a special Season Three show held January 6th, 2013 prior to the premiere. The 4th of June 2013 Showcase and Prodigy Pictures announced that production was beginning on the fourth season. Then on June 20, 2013 Silk tweeted that she was back to the set of the show. CNN's Cable News Network named her performance as Bo along with Lauren (Zoie Parker) on Lost Girl as same-sex couples one of their all-time favorite television Couples. E! named them as the most popular TV Couple for 2013. Entertainment Television. Due to Silk's popularity Silk has garnered a prominent internet following via social media.
